AI Still-life Paintings
One year since I started rendering AI Images, I am revisiting the theme again: still-lives. Includes a film about Lily Painting Classes.
(EN) Hello everyone,
In today's update, I want to share with you the realm of still-life artistry and chose a variety of artists as inspiration.
My journey with AI-generated images began with still lifes back in February 2023. Over the past year, I've been consistently posting two images daily on my blog. Initially, I used Playground AI (stable diffusion) for rendering, and I instantly fell in love with the results. As time went on, I subscribed to Midjourney, and in June, I launched this newsletter dedicated to AI images. While I still occasionally use Playground AI, the lengthy processing times in the free scheme have made it less appealing. However, discovering Krea AI about a month ago reignited my passion for AI-generated images, as it allows for rendering with our own training data. I've since subscribed to Krea AI, and the journey continues.
Lily, a character from my children's narrative films, is gradually coming to life. Her painting classes are a source of joy for her, and I plan to release at least one video per week showcasing Lily's adventures. The publishing of a weekly film has been my focus since starting this newsletter in June, although since mid-January, I've been dedicated to creating films centered around Lily. My films have a clear purpose, aiming to provide gentle, peaceful storytelling for both children and adults. They offer a positive and loving perspective, contrasting with darker narratives often found in children's stories. My goal is to inspire children to believe in a better world and to have hopeful, peaceful dreams each night.
While I do hope to eventually monetize my YouTube channel, it's a goal that remains uncertain. Meeting the requirements of 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time within a year seems daunting, especially considering how far I am from these targets currently. Nevertheless, I continue to create movies without expecting any immediate returns.
As we mark one year since the beginning of this journey, I'm excited to share more still lives with you all:

My YouTube channel is evolving, and I unlisted some old films. To access them, you have two options: either through the Substack newsletter, where access to the complete archive is available (for paying subscribers), or through my blog page. Over the past year, I've posted a tremendous amount of content there. However, please note that the experience on the blog page is not in widescreen format.
I leave you with the links to my YouTube channel, "Tita Costa AI," and to the video featuring Lily's Painting Classes.
The link to the blog is: titacosta.blogspot.com. There, I share everything I do, whether it's the newsletter, the YouTube videos, or even the two daily AI images. It also serves as my personal posting diary, where you can witness the evolution of Midjourney. Just a year ago, we were rendering in version 4, and now we've progressed to version 6. For a significant part of the year, we've been using version 5.2 as the standard. There's been some noticeable evolution, and my skill in writing prompts has also matured.
That's all for today. I want to express my gratitude to all the friends who are following this newsletter and encouraging me to continue. Exploring the realm of AI images is truly wonderful, and I hope to bring you plenty of satisfaction.
See you next week!
Tita
Tita
