Backgrounds in AI
Will AI collaborate with humans? This newsletter explores a potential example within the arts.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to chat with you all about AI today. AI, or artificial intelligence, is all about making our lives easier by handling those mundane tasks we face every day. It's like an extension of ourselves, tackling the stuff that could turn us into slaves to our own chores. This is the side of AI that I'm excited about and hopeful for—it's the current path I see AI heading down.
Now, when folks hear "Artificial Intelligence," they often jump to some pretty bleak scenarios, imagining a future where AI lords over us, making all our decisions for us. Of course, I'm not on board with the idea of AI taking charge and running the show. And from what I've observed, most developers aren't either.
AI is incredibly powerful, and it's understandable that both regular folks and experts might be wary of its potential. But where do we draw the line? Should AI be open source, serving as a tool for humanity? I believe the industry and society as a whole need to work together to figure this out. Personally, I think open source and free coding are crucial for AI's survival and healthy development. It's kind of like the invention of the metal blade—imagine life without knives!
Since I'm all about collaboration between humans and AI, I thought I'd share some images that could work as backgrounds for brand advertisements. The products themselves should still be captured by real photographers, but we can use AI to render the settings with a touch of magic. Just something to consider!

This week's film on my YouTube channel, Tita Costa TV Art, is another TV art slideshow that brings friendly animals right into our living rooms.
I'm posting new pictures on the blog every day. This week, I'm sharing images featuring traditional Chinese art. Hope you enjoy them!
See you next week

Apenas algo a considerar!
